About Medcor Canada
Medcor Canada is a professional industrial medical services company specializing in pre-hospital care. Medcor Canada believes in bringing the same quality and level of care to companies requiring onsite services as one would receive when dialing 911.
Putting Our Clients First
Onsite, Medcor Canada provides you with state of the art medical equipment and supplies, a superior level of patient care and unmatched professionalism wherever your project may be.
Medcor Canada is able and ready to respond to any emergency in any work environment. Drilling and Completion, Pipeline Construction, Road Construction, Seismic work, Refineries, Forestry and Event Standbys.
Medcor Canada Management has a combined 30+ years experience in the emergency medical services (EMS) field in both municipal ambulance services and the oil and gas industry. This experience allows for us to bring the level of service and equipment you would see in a modern city ambulance to the remote areas the oil and gas industry typically works in.
Our MTCs have been customized with extra cabinetry to ensure all ALS and BLS equipment required for our pre-hospital care providers can be properly stored and safely transported. Our MTCs are equipped with certified rollover protection which meets the regulations and guidelines of Technical Standards Document No. 220 of the Canadian Department of Transportation.
Onsite Medical Trailers
Through our experience on various projects, Medcor Canada found a need for medical trailers or “first aid rooms” to allow for the enhanced treatment and assessment of patients requiring immediate medical attention and advanced care as well as in-depth after care.
Our medical trailers are built with patient care in mind. Each trailer has a ramp door for stretcher access, an examination table for proper assessment of injuries, the ability to treat multiple patients at one time, and lighting and appropriate space for advanced procedures.
Medcor Canada is committed to building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with members of the aboriginal community. We work closely with several first Nation communities in central Alberta and strives to hire both local and aboriginal people when and where possible.
Medcor Canada works within the aboriginal communities to create employment opportunities for aboriginal EMRs, EMTs, and Paramedics. Furthermore, we support and encourage the continuing education of our aboriginal employees by assisting with safety training, certificate renewals, and assisting with placements for practical purposes through the agreements and understandings already in place with first nations groups.
